How it works
From the first call to the decision
The same six steps for every case, so you always know which one you’re on.
- 01
Step 1: A call or a message
Rufino answers, asks a few questions about the kind of case, and books an hour with Amalia.
- 02
Step 2: The consultation
At the office or by video. Amalia reviews your history and tells you plainly whether the case can be filed.
- 03
Step 3: A fee in writing
You leave with the flat fee, the current USCIS fees and a payment schedule. You decide at home.
- 04
Step 4: The engagement letter
Once you sign, you’re a client. You get a checklist of papers to gather, in English or Spanish.
- 05
Step 5: Filing
Amalia prepares every form, you review and sign them, and the package goes to USCIS. You get a copy of everything.
- 06
Step 6: Interview and decision
A practice session, then Amalia at the interview. When the decision arrives, she calls you herself.
What to bring to the consultation
Bring whatever you have; we’ll ask for the rest later.
- Your passport and any visa or entry stamp
- Any card or notice from immigration
- Marriage and birth certificates for the family members involved
- Court papers for any arrest or ticket, even an old one
Papers in Spanish are fine. If USCIS needs a translation, we’ll tell you which pages.
Book the first hour
At the office on Main Street or by video, on a weekday or Saturday morning.
