DACA renewals
A DACA renewal, filed inside the window and not a day late
USCIS asks for renewals 120 to 150 days before your current card expires. File too early and it can be rejected; too late and your work permit can lapse while you wait.
Every client’s expiration date goes on the office calendar. A letter goes out when your window opens, and the renewal is filed within two weeks of your call.

Questions about this kind of case
Can I apply for DACA for the first time?
First-time requests depend on court orders that keep changing. Call the office and Amalia will tell you where things stand this month.
I was arrested after my last renewal. What now?
Tell us before anything is filed. Some arrests don’t affect DACA and some do; Amalia will look at the court papers and quote that review on its own.
Can DACA lead to a green card?
Not by itself, but some DACA holders have a family or marriage path. Ask at the consultation; the answer depends on how you entered.
Check your card’s date, then call
If it expires in the next five months, your window is open or close to it.
