Family green cards
A green card through your husband, wife, parent or child
When a U.S. citizen petitions for a close relative who entered the country legally, the petition and the green card application can usually be filed together, from here, without leaving the country. That one filing is what the flat fee covers: every form, every page of evidence, and the interview.
Before you sign anything, Amalia checks the one thing that changes the whole case: how you entered and what has happened since. If that review finds a problem, you hear about it first, with its own price.

What happens, in order
- 01
Step 1: The consultation
An hour on how you entered, your marriage or family tie, and anything in your record.
- 02
Step 2: The binder
We build the evidence together: birth and marriage records, photos, leases, joint accounts and the sponsor’s taxes.
- 03
Step 3: The filing
Petition, green card application and permit requests go to USCIS in one package.
- 04
Step 4: Fingerprints and permits
A biometrics appointment, then a work permit and travel permit while the case waits.
- 05
Step 5: The interview
A practice session first, then Amalia sits beside you at USCIS.
Questions about this kind of case
What if my spouse is still outside the country?
Then the case goes through a consulate abroad instead, which is quoted separately because the steps and the waiting are different.
What if I entered without inspection?
Some families can still apply after a waiver of unlawful presence. Amalia will tell you at the consultation whether that path exists for you and what it costs.
How long does it take?
It depends on USCIS, not on the office. We’ll show you the current processing times for your case type at the consultation.
Start with an hour at the office
Bring your marriage or birth certificate and any papers from immigration. You’ll leave with a written fee and a list of what to gather.
